Recycled down is a unique, high-quality, eco-responsible creation produced right here in our Montréal workshop. Highly breathable and incredibly lightweight, with one of the highest loft factors in Québec, this down is sourced from previously padded items such as coats, comforters, and pillows. Once recovered, the down is washed several times at high temperatures, then fully sterilized before being reused.

Down has an infinite lifecycle, meaning it can be recycled endlessly without ever losing its loft or warmth.

Why is the duvet cover smaller than the duvet?

You may notice a difference between the dimensions of our duvets (for example, 118" x 100") and our duvet covers (for example, 110" x 96"). This difference is completely intentional and based on thoughtful design.

When a duvet—whether filled with down or microfiber—is placed inside a cover, it expands due to the loft of the filling. This natural puffiness causes the duvet to appear slightly smaller than its flat measurements.

Additionally, our duvet covers are purposely made a bit smaller than the duvets themselves.

This ensures that:

all four corners of the cover are fully filled,

the duvet stays in place and doesn't shift or create bunching inside,

the bed looks smooth, neat, and well-finished once the cover is on.

This approach provides optimal comfort, structure, and visual appeal.
